They’ll also be able to recommend alternative products that could better meet your needs.

Q: How do I avoid water buildup from an HVAC pump?
A: Condensate pumps can be used in any furnace and with safety switches that can detect water buildup. Also, be sure to turn off the system to prevent damage.

Q: How can I make my air compressor less noisy?
A: Anti-vibration pads can help reduce the noise your compressor makes by absorbing the vibration. They can also reduce damage and prevent your AC unit from creeping or walking.

Q: What types of cleaners and flushing solvents work best?
A: We have multiple coil cleaners available for different HVAC systems, including Triple-D, Pro-Blue, Eco-Coil, and more, with Pro-Green being our most commonly purchased due to its mild properties and indoor and outdoor use. See all of our cleaners and solvents here.

Q: What types of motors does Mars carry?
A: We carry a wide range of condenser and blower motors from several top-of-the-line manufacturers.

Q: How often should I replace HVAC air filters?
A: Every 30-90 days depending on the filter and the system. We can help you determine how often you need to replace it when you reach out.

Q: What’s the difference between Freon R-22 and Freon-410A (aka Puron)?
A: Older systems use Freon R-22, which has been phased out and replaced with Freon R-410A, also known as Puron. Puron is more environmentally friendly and more efficient. You are required to have an EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal certification license to handle R-410A. In addition, the minimum SEER rating or efficiency that we can use today is 13 SEER (older systems are 10 SEER and below). The refrigerant and efficiency rating of your indoor coil and outdoor unit must be the same, so the whole system must be replaced at the same time.

Payment Terms

Q: Do you offer credit terms or financing options for larger orders?
A: Yes, we offer credit accounts. For the best pricing and most flexible payment options, sign up for a credit account.

Q: Are there minimum order requirements?
A: No, we don’t require a minimum quantity when placing your order.
