Class CC Fuses
Littelfuse offers three different series of Class CC dual-element fuses that are specifically designed to protect different types of components. The CCMR time-delay fuses offer superior protection of motor circuits up to 40 hp. The KLDR time-delay fuses are designed to withstand the high magnetizing in-rush of transformers. The KLKR fast-acting fuses are used for protection of equipment containing solid-state devices or other components requiring fast response on overloads.

Class J Fuse
Littelfuse offers three types of current-limiting Class J fuses to meet the need for circuit protection in industrial and electrical power generation and transmission applications. Fast-acting JLS series fuses provide space-saving overload and short-circuit protection in industrial and power conversion applications. JTD time-delay fuses employ POWR-PRO® technology to ensure very high interrupting ratings and are specifically designed for use where space is limited. JTD_ID fuses share the same features and benefits of JTD series fuses but also feature blown-fuse indicators.

Class L Fuses
Current-limiting Class L fuses are available in fast-acting and time-delay versions. Fuses in the LDC and KLPC series feature POWR-PRO® performance, and LDC series fuses are the first in this class of UL Class industrial fuses rated at 600 V ac and 600 V dc. Littelfuse also offers KLLU series Class L fuses with POWR-GARD® performance. Common applications include protecting circuits that carry loads as high as 6 kA for electrified crane rails, light rail systems, and large electric motors.

Fuse Fundamental Guide
At the heart of electrical systems, fuses keep operations live. The fires, explosions, and poisonous fumes caused by an uncontrolled overcurrent can injure and kill personnel. These injuries and deaths are easily avoidable with sufficient overcurrent protection. Electrical codes and other applicable design and installation standards help avoid these hazards with requirements for overcurrent protection. This paper will go over everything you need to know to understand which fuse is best for your application. Download Technical Paper
